To date, Federer has won eighty nine ATP singles titles including a record eighteen grand slam singles titles, twenty-four ATP Masters 1000 titles and a record six year-end championships. Federer was also a Gold Medalist in men's doubles with Stan Wawrinka at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a Silver Medalist in men's singles at the 2012 London Olympics.

Federer has won the most grand slam titles (18). He has reached the most finals (28), semifinals (41) and quarterfinals (49). He has participated at the second highest number of grand slams (69) and the most consecutively (65). He has won the most matches at these tournaments (314). He is the only man to reach each final at least five times. He is the only man to win three tournaments five times each. He is one of eight men to win all four grand slams.

Federer has won the most year-end championship titles (6). He has reached the most finals (10) and semifinals (13). He has participated at the most championships (14) and the most consecutively (14). He has won the most matches at the championships (52).
