Ron Affif (December 30, 1965 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American jazz guitarist of Lebanese and Italian origin. He is the son of boxer Charley Zivic, who was a jazz fan and encouraged his son.
When he was twelve, he took lessons from his uncle, guitarist Ron Anthony. In 1984, after graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles, where he worked with Pete Christlieb, Dick Berk, Dave Pike, and Jack Sheldon. He moved to New York City two years later.
In 1998, he formed the Ron Affif Trio with Essiet Okon Essiet and drummer Jeff "Tain" Watts.
