The rufous crab hawk or rufous crab-hawk, (Buteogallus aequinoctialis) is a species of bird of prey in the family Accipitridae
It is found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.
It is dark brown with a rufous belly and yellow feet.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.
