Sabah state election, 1990

The 1990 Sabah state election was held between Monday, 16 July and Tuesday, 17 July 1990.Parti Bersatu Sabah was the incumbent ruling party in the state and part of the Barisan Nasional coalition, which PBS joined after the 1986 state election. USNO was also a member of the BN but rival of PBS. Therefore, PBS and USNO candidates were made to contest under their own party tickets.
