The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is an entry level Android smartphone manufactured and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The Grand Prime line serves as a successor to the Core Prime.
It was originally introduced in 2014 as an exclusive for the Pakistani market, but was later released as a budget phone the following year for a number of markets in Asia. It is also made available in the USA through mobile providers such as MetroPCS, Cricket, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint.
It is also available in Canadian providers, such as Freedom Mobile, Chatr Mobile, Koodo, SpeakOut and Public Mobile.
