San Mango d'Aquino is a town and comune in the province of Catanzaro, in the Calabria region of southern Italy. This town was recently rejuvenated by several construction programs designed to improve access for tourism.
The town is bordered by Cleto, Martirano Lombardo and Nocera Terinese.
Each year in San Mango there is the feast of the virgin where a statue of the Virign Mary is paraded around the streets. A similar festival is held in Scranton, Pennsylvania by descendants of the San Manganese people each year. This Feast is also celebrated in North Royalton Ohio at the Trunzo family residence since 1970. Started by Peppino Trunzo and Frank Adamo. The cities of Parma and North Royalton Ohio have both issued proclamations on this celebration.
