Sarcosoma is a genus of fungi in the family Sarcosomataceae. The genus, widespread in north temperate and tropical areas, contains five species. The anamorph (asexual) form is the genus Verticicladium.
The name comes from the Greek sarco meaning flesh and soma meaning body.
