Saugat malla (Nepali: सौगात मल्ल ) is a Nepalese film actor. He is one of the most versatile actors in Nepali cinema. His role of Haku Kale in the 2012 film Loot showcased his acting prowess. He has also starred in hit films like Kagbeni, Kabaddi Kabaddi, Highway, Chhadke and Utsav.
Saugat Malla was interested in acting, theater and films from an early age. He learnt acting from Aarohan Gurukul where he acted in plays like Oedipus Rex and Agni Ko Katha. He made his debut in Nepali cinema with Kagbeni in 2008, which was directed by Bhusan Dahal. He had to wait for four years before finally being signed in Nischal Basnet's Loot, which brought him into the limelight. He came to be identified as Haku Kale, a character he played in the film.
