Scarborough State Beach is a two-unit Rhode Island state park located at 870 and 970 Ocean Road in the town of Narragansett. It is one of the most frequented beach areas in Rhode Island. The park offers saltwater bathing, picnicking, an observation tower, and boardwalk. The beach was first developed with a pavilion in 1937. Extensive renovations were completed in 1987. There currently is a northern and southern facility at the beach. The southern component was added when the state purchased Olivo's and Lido's beaches.
