Sector 5 (Sectorul 5 in Romanian) is an administrative unit of Bucharest.
The mayor of the sector is Daniel Florea, a member of the Social Democratic Party. He was elected in 2016 for a four year term, defeating incumbent Marian Vanghelie, an independent at the time but previously a member of the PSD as well, who had been mayor since 2000.
