Sergi Samper Montaña (born 20 January 1995) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Granada CF on loan from FC Barcelona.
Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Samper joined FC Barcelona's youth setup in 2001, aged 6, after a successful trial. On 9 May 2013, he signed a four-year professional deal with Barça.
On 10 June 2013, Samper was promoted to FC Barcelona B. On 17 August, he made his professional debut, in a 1–2 away defeat against CD Mirandés. He appeared in 40 matches during the campaign, with his side finishing third.
On 17 September 2014, Samper made his first-team debut, starting in a 1–0 home success against APOEL FC, for the season's UEFA Champions League.
Samper made his La Liga debut on 12 March 2016, coming on as a second-half substitute for Andrés Iniesta in a 6–0 home rout of Getafe CF.
On 26 August 2016, Samper joined Granada CF on a season-long loan.
Samper's older brother, Jordi, is a professional tennis player.
