Sheikh Liaquat Hussain (1929 – 23 September 2009), was a Pakistani politician and political figure who was a Member of the National Assembly from 1997 until his death. He was also the father of Aamir Liaquat Hussain – host, politician.
Hussain was born in 1929. He married Ghousia Sultana in 1970 and they had two sons: Aamir Liaquat(born 1971) and Imran Liaquat.
Hussain died on 23 September 2009 in Karachi at the age of 80.
