St Mary's Church, Summerstown

St Mary's Church, Summerstown, is a Grade II listed building and church in South London. It was designed by Godfrey Pinkerton and built in 1920.

The 1836 William Moseley chapel (originally also serving as a school) was demolished due to structural problems in 1894. A temporary iron structure was used until a parish church was completed nearby in 1904. This later made way for the present building.

The old site was used for a church hall from c. 1925 until 1968, when it was sold, by act of parliament (St. Mary, Summerstown Act 1968).
