Sterlin Gilbert (born August 11, 1978) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of South Florida.
Prior to taking the job with the South Florida Bulls, Gilbert was the co-offensive coordinator at the University of Tulsa, Bowling Green State University and the University of Texas.
In 2015, Gilbert was hired by Texas coach Charlie Strong at the University of Texas as offensive coordinator and QB coach until the end of the 2016 season.
On Dec 30th, 247 Sports reported that Sterlin Gilbert would follow Charlie Strong to USF as Strong's OC/QB coach - the same position he held for Strong at the University of Texas.
