Summerfield is a village in St. Clair County, Illinois, United States. The population was 472 at the 2000 census.

According to the 2010 census, Summerfield has a total area of 0.431 square miles (1.12 km2), of which 0.43 square miles (1.11 km2) (or 99.77%) is land and 0.001 square miles (0.00 km2) (or 0.23%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 472 people, 161 households, and 123 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,122.6 people per square mile (433.9/km²).
