Tamisiocaris (see Latin tamisium, sieve) is an anomalocaridid taxon initially only known from non-segmented great appendages from Sirius Passet. Further specimens revealed that the appendages near their mouths were adapted to filter feed in a manner analogous to modern baleen whales.
