Tarentola substituta (English name: São Vicente wall gecko) is a species of geckos in the family Phyllodactylidae. The species is endemic to the Cape Verde Islands.
The species are found in the island of São Vicente, it may have introduced to the neighboring island of Santo Antão.
The subspecies were elevated from Tarentola caboverdiana substituta by Vasconcelos, Perera, Geniez, Harris & Carranza en 2012.
