The Dusk in Us is the upcoming ninth studio album by American metalcore band Converge. It is set to be released on November 3, 2017 via Epitaph and Deathwish, and is the band's first studio album in five years since 2012's All We Love We Leave Behind.
The Dusk in Us is the band's first studio album in five years since 2012's All We Love We Leave Behind. The album is produced by the band's guitarist Kurt Ballou. On July 24, Converge teased through social media that new music was coming the following day. On July 25, the first single "I Can Tell You About Pain" was released. The second single "Under Duress", released on August 15, was described by the band's vocalist Jacob Bannon as his "emotional reaction to the complex world in which we live". The band toured in Europe in August 2017 prior to the release.
