The Prince of Egypt (Nashville) was one of three albums released along with Dreamworks's 1998 movie, The Prince of Egypt. This country-themed album featured several prominent country music acts.
It peaked at #6 and #8 on Billboard magazine's Top Contemporary Christian and Top Country Album charts respectively.
Two of the singles contained here entered the Hot Country Singles & tracks charts: Judd's rendition "Freedom" at #68, and Andrews' "I Will Be There for You" (also included on her debut album Heart Shaped World) at #28. The latter also peaked at #8 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 charts.
