The Victorian Naturalist is a bimonthly scientific journal published by the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria. It was established in 1884. The journal publishes a mixture of technical, scientific, and historical research reports, '"Naturalist Notes", and book reviews of relevance to Australia on the widest range of natural history subjects. Research articles are peer-reviewed. The editor-in-chief is Gary Presland.
