Historically the rivalry between KF Tirana and Partizani Tirana football clubs, the two biggest rivals based capital in the city Tirana of Albania, has been followed by a great deal of football spectators. Since 2008 however, Partizani's relegation, the derby faded away for a while until their return for the 2013–14 season. Since then the derby once again rose in importance till now, cause on the season 2017-2018 the capital will not have the derby because the relegation of KF Tirana in the lower category for the first time in the club's history.
