Tougué is a town located in central Guinea. It is the capital of Tougué Prefecture. In 2008, its population was estimated at 3,745.
There are deposits of bauxite near this town. Agriculture is also important, including onion farming.
The mine is connected by a 140 km 1435mm gauge railway to the junction at Dabola, where ore is transhipped to 1000mm gauge wagons for the rest of the journey to the port. This branch line was completed in 1998.
