Tuckahoe is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 1,373 at the 2010 census.
Tuckahoe is located at 40°54′01″N 72°26′09″W / 40.900340°N 72.435816°W.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.6 square miles (11.9 km2), of which 4.1 square miles (10.7 km2) is land and 0.46 square miles (1.2 km2), or 9.97%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,741 people, 687 households, and 456 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 343.9 per square mile (132.8/km2).
