Summer Olympics appearances (overview) | |||||||||
The Oceanic island nation of Tuvalu competed at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This was the nation's second consecutive appearance at the Olympics.
Three athletes from Tuvalu received their spots in athletics and in weightlifting by wildcard entries, without having qualified. Weightlifter Tuau Lapua Lapua was the nation's flag bearer at the opening ceremony. Tuvalu, however, has yet to win its first ever Olympic medal.
