Ubisoft Quebec (French: Ubisoft Québec) is an Ubisoft-owned video game developer located in Quebec City, Quebec. Founded as a subsidiary of Ubisoft in June 2005, initially developing low-profile projects, the studio now has over 300 employees. Ubisoft Quebec has since developed the Wii version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and contributed to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. They were also the lead studio for the 2015 Assassin's Creed title named Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
The studio's goal was to seek new talents and ideas from eastern Quebec. Ubisoft took opportunity of investments made into the expanding technological sector St-Roch by Quebec City.
