The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections in Arkansas will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 to elect the four U.S. Representatives from the state of Arkansas, one from each of the state's four congressional districts. The elections will coincide with the elections of other federal and state offices.
The 1st district is located in northeastern and part of southeastern Arkansas. The incumbent is Republican Rick Crawford, who has represented the district since 2011. He was re-elected to a fourth term with 76% of the vote in 2016.
The 2nd district is located in central Arkansas and includes Little Rock, its suburbs and surrounding areas. The incumbent is Republican French Hill, who has represented the district since 2015. He was re-elected to a second term with 58% of the vote in 2016.
Arkansas's 2nd district has been included on the initial list of Republican held seats being targeted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2018.
Paul Spencer, a teacher and campaign ethics activist has announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination. In his announcement, he signaled that he will only accept individual contributions and fight for a universal healthcare program, such as Medicare For All.
The 3rd district is located in northwest Arkansas and includes the cities of Bentonville, Fayetteville, Springdale and Fort Smith. The incumbent is Republican Steve Womack, who has represented the district since 2011. He was re-elected to a fourth term with 77% of the vote in 2016.
Robb Ryerse, a Fayetteville pastor, is running as a "progressive Republican" with the endorsement of Brand New Congress, a political action committee founded by staffers of Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign to push Sanders' left-wing policies following the suspension of his presidential campaign.
