The 1928 United States presidential election in Montana took place on November 6, 1928 throughout the continuous 48 states. Voters chose 4 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for President and Vice President.

Montana overwhelmingly voted for the Republican nominee, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover, over the Democratic nominee, New York Governor Al Smith. Hoover won Montana by a landslide margin of 17.89%.
