Vale da Custa is a fishing and now a tourist village in the southeastern part of the island of Santiago, Cape Verde. It is situated abour 15 km east of São Domingos and around 10 km northeast of the capital Praia. It is part of the municipality of São Domingos and the parish of Nossa Senhora da Luz. Its 2010 population was 378. The village sits near Praia de São Francisco and is west of São Francisco Bay.
It also has a small valley name Vale da Custa which dominates the area.
The settlement area includes most of Ponta to Lobo but it includes its promontory, with nearby Achada Baleia and the settlement of Ponta do Lobo, it had a disputed and a demarcated boundary in the area.
The Ponta do Lobo lighthouse located on the promontory named Ponta do Lobo is located in the east in the area of the island's easternmost point.
In the late 2000s, the Sambala Village resort started under construction and inside the municipality of Praia, Caminho de Baía de São Francisco started construction which changed the route between Praia and the beach bypassing the village and outside the municipality. Nearby is a very small stream named Ribeirão de Ema which is about 300 meters long.
