The Ventana Double Cone is a prominent twin mountain top located in the northern part of the Ventana Wilderness of the Los Padres National Forest. It is a popular hiking destination.
Ventana means 'window' in the Spanish language. Early explorers gave the Ventana Double Cone its name because near its summit is a ledge that forms a small slot, or window.
