Victor Emanuel Martin Rask (born 1 March 1993) is a Swedish professional ice hockey center currently playing for and as an alternate captain of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Hurricanes and previously played with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL after beginning his playing career with Leksands IF of the then Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan.
On October 20, 2011, Rask was signed to a three-year entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes.
On July 12, 2016, Rask signed a six-year, $24 million contract with an AAV of $4 million per season with the Hurricanes. Rask recorded a career-high 48 points in the 2015–16 NHL season.
