Warrnambool District Football League is an Australian rules football competition based in the region of rural of Warrnambool. It is a twelve team competition starting in April and finishing in September. The league was founded in 1946. Last year (2016) Nirranda broke a 17 year drought beating the Old Collegians by 7 points. Post Season Nirranda were fifth on the ladder and The Old Collegians were on the Top of the Ladder and The Old Collegians did not lose a game all season.Before the start of the 2017 Season The Deakin University Sharks and The Mortlake Jr Sharks Folded.
