Wierzchlesie [vjɛʂˈxlɛɕɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szudziałowo, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Szudziałowo, 10 km (6 mi) south of Sokółka, and 34 km (21 mi) north-east of the regional capital Białystok.
