William Alex Fraser QSO (28 July 1924 – 13 January 2001) was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party.
He represented the Dunedin electorate of St Kilda from 1957 to 1981, when he retired.
He was a Cabinet Minister, and was Minister of Defence from 1974 to 1975 in the Third Labour Government.
In the 1992 Queen's Birthday Honours Fraser was appointed a Companion of the Queen's Service Order for public services. He died in Dunedin in 2001, and his ashes were buried in Andersons Bay Cemetery.
