Yedanthasthula Meda (English: Seven Stored Building) is a 1980 Telugu, drama film, produced by on Jhansi Enterprises banner and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Sujatha, Jaya Sudha in the lead roles and music composed by Chakravarthy. The film is remade as Hindi Movie Pyaasa Sawan (1981).
Ranga Rao (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) is looking for a job. Prabhakar Rao (M. Prabhakar Reddy) mistakenly thinks that Ranga Rao is the son of a wealthy man and he wants Ranga Rao to marry his daughter Janaki (Sujatha). By the time Prabhakar Rao learns the truth, Ranga Rao and Janaki have fallen in love. They marry but go through a lot of troubles. Ranga Rao builds a huge empire by hard labor but neglects his wife always regrets that he could not give much time to her. Janaki gives birth to their son, Venu (again Akkineni Nageswara Rao) and passes away after one year due to cancer. Venu grows up and the same story of Ranga Rao & Janaki is about to repeat between Venu & his wife Sudha (Jaya Sudha).
