The track was described by the Presley Foundation's own website as having an "ominous, swampy vibe".
The single failed to chart, but the "smoky, spooky" single was well received by Entertainment Weekly, gave a recognizable song to the album, and made news in celebrity and entertainment for Presley's first guest appearance on American Idol, 17 May 2012, singing the song.
