Young Guns is a series of western film about the adventures of Billy the Kid and his men. The series stars a strings of "young" actors who portrayed figures cowboy and gunfighter in the history, it stars Emilio Estevez as the history outlaw Billy the Kid. The series gross nearly $90 million worldwide.
A group of young gunmen, led by Billy the Kid, become deputies to avenge the murder of the rancher who became their benefactor.
Following the Lincoln County War. In 1881, cattle baron John Chisum pays a bounty to Patrick Floyd Garrett to kill outlaw Billy the Kid.
After the success of the series, producers are considered for a TV series focus on Kiefer Sutherland's character, Josiah Gordon "Doc" Scurlock, when he is the leader in the John Tunstall men and before meeting Billy the Kid, there also discussing about a spin-off for the character Jose Chavez y Chavez, when he is a teenager and still lives with his family, but conversation fell through and nothing is scheduled.
