Youth In Revolt are an American post-hardcore band from Howell, New Jersey. They are currently signed to Outerloop Records, a record company co-owned by Outerloop Management and Fearless Records.
After a year long hiatus, the band debuted their new line up (Featuring Arvin Sarathy and Tanner Allen formerly of Brightwell) and their cover of "Something In The Way You Move" by Ellie Goulding on September 21, 2016.
The band's debut full length album, The Broken was released February 17, 2017 through Outerloop Records.
Youth In Revolt formed in 2012. They released their first single, a cover of Ke$ha's "Die Young" in spring 2013 and then released their debut single Locked & Loaded shortly after. They released their debut EP called "Love Is A Liar's Game" in June 2014.
Also in 2014, the band was featured on Fearless Records, Punk Goes... compilation, Punk Goes Pop 6, covering Royals by Lorde. The band supported For All Those Sleeping and Capture the Crown on their fall co-headlining tour.
Later in 2014, the band released a single called "Dead Inside" on December 16, 2014. The band then released another single "Where You Belong" featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills and Kenny Davis of Chasing Safety on December 25, 2014. This was the final song that lead singer True Arahill was on before departing in 2015 after a long period of inactivity. True's departure was not announced publicly, rather, his name was removed from the biography on their Facebook page.
Following True's departure, he removed himself from social media, including Twitter and Facebook entirely. On 7 December 2015, Alex tweeted "There's gonna be many changes", referencing the band's line up change.
On September 21, 2016, the band returned from their indefinite hiatus with new members (Tanner Allen, Christian Coletti, and Arvin Sarathy) and released a cover of "Something In The Way You Move."(originally by Ellie Goulding)
