Zack Morris (born 2 October 1998) is an English actor, best known for playing Keegan Baker in the BBC soap opera EastEnders since 2017.
Originally from Brentwood, Essex, Morris grew up wanting to be an actor. He developed an interest in acting at age 6 after seeing a local production with his mum and great-grandfather. Morris then started acting classes. Though he grew up playing football, Morris knew he wasn't very good and felt acting would be a better fit. Despite his interest in acting, Morris attended a "normal" Comprehensive school instead of a performing arts school which he says helped prepare him for his acting career. After school, Morris entered college at D&B Academy of Performing Arts in Bromley. He received a scholarship from TV presenter Marvin Humes.
Though often teased about it growing up, Morris is not named for the iconic Saved by the Bell character Zack Morris.
Morris began his professional acting career at age 9 when he appeared in the 2007 West End revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He also appeared in a West End production of Oliver! In 2011, Morris appeared in the miniseries The Fades and in 2012, he appeared in the BBC miniseries One Night as Kyle. Morris has also played in several commercials. In 2017, Morris made his EastEnders debut as Keegan. He filmed started filming in November 2016 with Keegan becoming his most significant role to date.
