James Blackmon Sr.

James Blackmon Sr. (born August 7, 1964) is an American basketball coach and former noted college and high school player. Blackmon has coached two teams to the class 2A high school basketball championship in Indiana, winning back-to-back titles in 2008 and 2009. Blackmon played basketball in college for the University of Kentucky Wildcats. As a senior at Marion High School, in Marion, Indiana, Blackmon was runner-up for the award of Indiana Mr. Basketball, won that year by Steve Alford. Blackmon was named to the McDonald's All-American and Parade All-American teams in recognition of his high school success.

The 2012/13 season was Blackmon's 9th year as head coach at Bishop Luers High School. Blackmon was hired as head coach for the 2004/05 season, taking over a team whose combined record was 7-33 for the prior two seasons. Blackmon has revised the boys' image at a school better known for its championship history in Indiana high school girls basketball. During his tenure, the Knights' play in the state tournament has resulted in 2 state basketball championships and 5 sectional championships. In addition, the Knights have won 3 conference tournament titles and 2 conference regular season championships.

Past players coached by Blackmon include Deshaun Thomas, the 2010 Indiana Mr. Basketball and holder of 3rd place in the list of the state's all-time leading scorers. His teams at MHS have featured his sons, James Blackmon Jr. and Vijay Blackmon.

The 2007/08 Knights won the Summit Athletic Conference holiday tournament for the first time in school history. The win was the first of 3 consecutive tournament titles. The Knights went on to win the Class 2A Indiana high school basketball championship in 2007/08 and again in 2008/09.

The Knights have won 5 sectional titles under Blackmon's leadership, in consecutive seasons starting with 2006/07 and ending in 2009/10 and later in 2012/13.

Wayne Blackshear

Wayne Blackshear

Wayne Fitzgerald Blackshear (born February 11, 1992) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia of Italy's Lega Basket Serie A. He played college basketball at the University of Louisville.

Blackshear played basketball for Curie Metropolitan High School before transferring to crosstown rival Morgan Park High School. He earned 2010 and 2011 first team All-State recognition from the Chicago Tribune, and was 2011 Chicago Sun-Times Sun-Times Player of the Year. He was a 2011 McDonald's All-American and a Parade All-American.

Blackshear averaged 7.6 points per game playing for the Louisville Cardinals in 2012–13, helping them win the 2013 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. As a senior in 2014–15, Blackshear earned second-team Academic All-American honors and averaged 11.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 32 games.

After going undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft, Blackshear joined the San Antonio Spurs for the 2015 NBA Summer League.

Antonio Blakeney (born October 4, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Bulls' NBA G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls. He played college basketball for Louisiana State University.

Blakeney was a 2015 McDonald’s All-American and Florida’s Mr. Basketball. He finished the 2014-15 season averaging 29 points, 6.9 rebounds as well as 2.7 assists for Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Florida.

He went to Louisiana State University where he featured in 34 games as a freshman, playing alongside Ben Simmons. Behind Simmons and Keith Hornsby, Blakeney was LSU’s third-leading scorer in 2015-16, averaging 12.6 points a contest, hitting a team-best 52 three-point shots on the season.

The 2016-17 season saw him emerge as LSU’s leading scorer, pouring in 17.2 points per contest, while corralling 4.8 rebounds a game and handing out 1.7 assists per outing. Blakeney took home an All-SEC Second Team selection that year. In April 2017, he announced to forgo the remaining two years of his eligibility and declared for the 2017 NBA draft.

After not hearing his name called on draft night, Blakeney joined the Chicago Bulls for the 2017 NBA Summer League. Based on his performance there, Blakeney was signed to a two-way contract by the Bulls. Under the terms of the deal, he will split time between the Bulls and their G-League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls.

Nikki Blue

Anitra Necole "Nikki" Blue (born March 29, 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the New York Liberty of the WNBA and an assistant coach for Cal State Bakersfield.

Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, Blue played her high school career at West High School. Blue set the CIF Central Section record for points scored in a single season (913 in the 2000–01 season) and career (2,934 points). Blue averaged 29 points per game her senior year at West and lead Kern County in assist per game as well. Blue is regarded as the best player to ever come out of the CIF Central Section. However, due to the lack of talent around her, West High never won a section championship during Blue's career. The closest West came was in 2002 when West lost to crosstown rival Stockdale 82–55 in the CIF Central Section Division II championship game. Blue was named a WBCA All-American. She participated in the 2001 WBCA High School All-America Game, where she scored two points, but had a good game.

Blue was regarded as one of the best point guards in the country, and was offered a full-ride scholarship to the University of Connecticut, the nations top ranked team in 2002. However, Blue turned the offer down and instead opted to go to UCLA, which went 10–20 during the 2002 season. Blue stated that UCLA was closer to home and she liked the idea of rebuilding a program.

At UCLA, Blue was a four-year starting point guard. She was named first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference and to the All-Freshmen team. She averaged 16.6 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 3.6 assist per game, and 2.7 steals per game her freshman year. As a sophomore, she was named first-team All-Pac-10 for the second straight year. As a junior, she joined Ann Meyers as the second Bruin to record over 1,300 points and 400 assists. She was one of the finalists for the Nancy Lieberman Award her senior year. Her career averages at UCLA were 15.2 points per game, 5.1 assist per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, and 2.8 steals per game.

Kerry Martin Boagni (born September 24, 1964) is an American former professional basketball player. A native of California, he played college basketball for the Cal State Fullerton Titans before being drafted by the Utah Jazz in the 1986 NBA draft. He then began a very successful career in New Zealand, playing the majority of his years for the Wellington Saints.

Boagni was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended Serra High School in Gardena, California, where he played basketball. A star forward, Boagni averaged 24 points and 17 rebounds per game and shot 61% from the floor. He was named to the 1982 Sporting News' Top 10 prep list, the USA Men's U.S. Olympic Festival Roster, and made more than a half dozen All-America teams. Boagni played in the 1982 McDonald's High School All American game, along with future NBA stars Dell Curry and Kenny Walker.

A highly regarded recruit, Boagni selected the University of Kansas to pursue his basketball career. In his freshman year, he was the team's No. 2 scorer (14 points per game), scored in double figures 23 times, and was named to the Big Eight Conference all-freshman team. After playing 10 games for Kansas in his sophomore year, Boagni transferred to California State University, Fullerton and excelled. The Utah Jazz subsequently picked Boagni with the 105th overall draft pick in the 1986 NBA draft.

Micah Blunt

Micah Blunt is a retired American professional basketball player.

The 6-9, 210-pound native of New Orleans was a product of Tulane University.

Blunt was the Los Angeles Lakers eighth round pick in the 1982 National Basketball Association (NBA) draft. He never made it to the Lakers roster with only first pick James Worthy working his way up to earn a spot with the LA Lakers.

In 1983, Blunt made his debut in the English league with the Uxbridge club, Brunel Ducks. He tried his luck in two NBA camps the following year but neither the Lakers nor the LA Clippers took the option to select him. He returned to England and suited up for Plymouth in the second division in the 1984-85 season. Blunt averaged 6.5 points for the Evansville Thunder in the Continental league, and also played briefly for the Dijon team in France.

In 1986, Blunt ranked second in scoring in the English league, hitting a 30.1 clip for the Calderdale Explorers. He led Calderdale to the Prudential Cup semifinals but the Explorers lost an 81-77 decision to Portsmouth despite his team-high 22 points.

Eric Yamoah Boateng (born 20 November 1985) is a British professional basketball player. He is a former college basketball player with the Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball team. He attended high school at St. Andrew's School in Middletown, Delaware. Boateng committed to Duke University out of high school, but transferred after one season to Arizona State. He is also a member of the senior men's Great Britain national basketball team. In November 2014, he was elected to a four-year term on the British Olympic Association's Athletes' Commission.

Eric Boateng attended Ernest Bevin College in Tooting, South London, between 1997-2002, he later attended high school at St. Andrew's School in Middletown, Delaware, where he averaged 19.6 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.6 blocked shots a game. Boateng was named Delaware high school player of the year by the Delaware Sportswriters & Broadcasters Association, and earned national recognition that included Gatorade State Player of the Year, 4th Team, and garnering the ranking of the 3rd best center for the 2005 recruiting class, behind only Andrew Bynum and Amir Johnson.

Boateng received scholarship offers from Boston College, Georgetown, Michigan, UCLA, Villanova, and Duke. He eventually committed to attend Duke.

Keith Ramon Bogans (born May 12, 1980) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League. He played college basketball for Kentucky.

Bogans attended The Langley School in McLean, Virginia and DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland, and was an All-American first team honoree in his senior year. He was coached by Morgan Wootten, leading DeMatha to a 34–1 record and a number three national ranking in 1999. He was recruited by the University of Kentucky, and was a four-year starter for the Wildcats under coach Tubby Smith. In his senior year at UK, he led the 2002–03 Wildcats to a 16–0 sweep of the Southeastern Conference and the SEC Tournament title, finishing with an Elite Eight run in the NCAA Tournament. He was an All-American as a college senior when he averaged 15.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals. He was also 80-for-209 from three point range. His illustrious collegiate career ended as he limped off the court at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, after playing the game on a severely sprained ankle. The Wildcats ended up losing to Dwyane Wade's Marquette squad in the Elite 8.

On September 26, 2014, Bogans was inducted into the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame.

Bogans was chosen in the second round with the 43rd pick in the 2003 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, but was traded to the Orlando Magic on draft day. Bogans started in half of the games he played in his rookie season, averaging 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

Bol attended high school on the varsity basketball team in two years at Bishop Miege HS in Roland Park, KS to win first state championship title as an sophomore season. He elected to transfer to Mater Dei HS in Santa Ana, CA for another two years.

Bol Bol is considered a top recruit for the Class of 2018.

Bolden had to sit out the first eight games of the 2016-17 season due to a leg injury, before making his debut against Maine on December 3, 2016, scoring seven points and five rebounds. He missed the NCAA Tournament due to illness and averaged 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds (24 games) as a freshman.

Playing at the 2016 Nike Hoop Summit, Bolden scored three points and pulled down two rebounds in 13 minutes of action for Team USA. He attended training camp of the 2017 USA Basketball Men's U19 World Cup Team, but was cut before the start of the tournament.
