The 1902 Tempe Normal Owls football team was an American football team that represented Tempe Normal School (later renamed Arizona State University) as an independent during the 1902 college football season. In their fourth season under head coach Frederick M. Irish, the Owls outscored their opponents by a combined total of 73-12. Tempe Normal's team captain was Arthur Woolf. The Owls finished (2-0) at home and (0-1) on the road. All home games were played at Normal Field in Tempe, Arizona.
In the season opener at Normal Field, Tempe Normal recorded a 39-0 home shutout win over Phoenix Union High School. The Owls beat the Phoenix Indians 34-0 in Tempe. During the rivalry matchup in Tucson, Tempe Normal suffered a 12-0 road loss to Arizona.
