The 1964–65 Iraq FA League Championship was the 10th season of what is now known as the League of the Institutes (the top division of Iraqi football from 1948 to 1974), and it was open to teams from Baghdad. Maslahat Naqil Al-Rukab won their third league title, and the fourth title in the history of the teams that were later merged to form Amanat Baghdad.
