Mersin İdmanyurdu (also Mersin İdman Yurdu, Mersin İY, or MİY) Sports Club; located in Mersin, east Mediterranean coast of Turkey in 1986–87. Mersin İdmanyurdu S.K. (MİY) football team participated in Turkish Second Football League in 1986-87 season.
Mersin İdmanyurdu took place in Group B in Second League 1986–87 Season. League played in three groups two with 18 teams and one with 17. Bottom three teams in Group A with 17 teams and bottom four teams in groups with 18 teams relegated to Third League, whereas top teams promoted to First League at the end of the season. MİY finished 11th with 9 wins and 27 goals.
