On March 9, 2015, the Celtics passed the previous season's win total of 25 with a 100–90 win over the Miami Heat.
On April 13, 2015, the Celtics qualified for the playoffs for the 7th time in the last 8 seasons and for the first time since 2012–13. They ended the season at 0-4 first round playoff series loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
