The 2017 Angelo State Rams football team represents Angelo State University in the 2017 NCAA Division II football season. They are led by head coach Will Wagner, who is in his seventh season at Angelo State. The Rams will play their home games at LeGrand Stadium and are members of the Lone Star Conference.

Angelo State announced its 2017 football schedule on February 7, 2017. The schedule consists of seven home and three away games in the regular season. The Rams will host LSC foes Midwestern State, Tarleton State, Texas A&M-Kingsville, West Texas A&M, and Western New Mexico and will travel to Eastern New Mexico, Texas-Permian Basin, and Texas A&M-Commerce

The Rams will host both non-conference games against McKendree from the Great Lakes Valley Conference and Northern Michigan from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
