The Coimbatore–Mettupalayam line connects Coimbatore junction and Mettupalayam railway station in Tamilnadu.
The Coimbatore–Mettupalayam metre gauge line was opened to traffic in 1873. The Coimbatore–Mettuapalayam section was converted to broad gauge in early 2000s.
The electrification of Coimbatore–Mettupalayam line was completed in 2015.
