Series summary

Holland's Next Top Model, Cycle 8 is the eighth cycle of Holland's Next Top Model. It premiered on 31 August 2015 (2015-08-31). Like the two previous seasons, the show was hosted by Anouk Smulders. The other jury members were May-Britt Mobach and Dirk Kikstra. This year, the cast consisted of 13 contestants, with the international destination being set in Los Angeles. The prizes for the cycle consisted of a contract worth 50.000 € with Touché models, a feature on the cover of Amayzine.com, and a brand new car.

The winner of the competition was 20 year-old Loiza Lamers from Driel, Gelderland. Lamers is the first ever transgender winner of the Top Model franchise.

This episode the remaining girls had their go-sees in Los Angeles. The girl that did the best won a professional massage. At the photo shoot Anouk and Dirk were present to see the girls' performance and growth. The girls had to depict different emotions.
