Kandukur or Kandukuru is a town in Prakasam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipality and the mandal headquarters of Kandukur mandal in Kandukur revenue division.

Telugu is one of the official languages of the state of Andhra Pradesh and is spoken very commonly in Kandukuru.

Kandukuru is an assembly constituency in Praksam District, Andhra Pradesh. There were 1,76,773 registered voters in Kandukuru constituency for the 1999 elections. Kandukuru is part of "Nellore" parliament constituency.
