“Tala” (Star) Is a song by Filipino singer-actress Sarah Geronimo. Written by Nica del Rosario and Emmanuel Sambayan with music and production by Jumbo De Belen and Alisson Shore of Flip Music Production, released as the lead single from Geronimo's platinum album The Great Unknown. The song became one of the most played OPM songs of 2016, winning “Song of the Year” at the 2017 Myx Music Awards.

Sarah Geronimo premiered “Tala” on her From the Top concert on December 2015. She also performed the song on various album mall tour for “The Great Unknown” in the Philippines. On ASAP stage, the popstar performed the hit twice. She also made an acoustic version of the song for her The Great Unknown Unplugged concert.

The music video shows Sarah Geronimo’s sexier side as she shows off her Georcelle Dapat-Sy Choreographed dance moves along with the G-force while performing the song. It was directed by Paul Basinilio. The music video was premiered on Myx, and posted on Viva Records official YouTube Channel on June 11, 2016. As of March 2017, it was viewed over 3 million times.

The song was covered by PBB Teens housemate Vivoree, while various dance cover was made by different known artists such as Encatadia’s Glaiza de Castro, Ella Cruz, The Addlib and Diva Montelaba.

The song topped both MTV And Myx Chart.
