The song was sent mainstream urban radio stations in the United States on March 31, 1998 & Top 40 on April 7, 1998 and was a hit for the group. It peaked at No. 7 in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and No. 4 in the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart. It sold 800,000 copies, earning a gold certification from the RIAA.
