Zeta Pavonis (ζ Pav) is a class K0III (orange giant) star in the constellation Pavo. Its apparent magnitude is 4.01 and it is approximately 218 light years away based on parallax. Zeta Pavonis has a companion, probably optical, of apparent magnitude 12.0 at about 55.6" separation.
